The stand is made of white concrete, treated with acrylic paint. This protects the duct from alkali and aggressive substances in the atmosphere, because it reduces the effects of carbonation of concrete due to its high resistance to carbon dioxide penetration. It does not suffer from temperature jumps, and therefore it can be placed where they occur.
