The perimeter cladding consists of steel frames with steel weave in combination with full infill or, alternatively, only with full infill or only with steel beam. The external cladding of the building can therefore be varied according to the specific requirements of the client. In the door area, the cladding is not transparent at all to prevent access to the electronics controlling the entrance to the shelter.

The roof consists of a trapezoidal sheet with a slope of 8°, sloped into rain gutters. The shelter can be connected to direct electricity or it is also possible to place photovoltaic panels on the roof of the shelter, which provide electricity supply and therefore allow the continuous operation of the shelter system even without connection to direct electricity. The building is not heated, due to the structural solution, it is ventilated directly through the building envelope.

The shelter can accommodate at least 30 bicycles with the possibility of locating a service stand for bicycles, etc.

The entrance to the building is secured through a gate with an electric intercom. The user must first authorize himself when entering the building – either with a magnetic key, identification card or in another sophisticated way. In addition to the robust construction of the shelter, a high level of security of bicycle locking is also ensured by an entrance based on authorization (chip card, electromagnetic key, etc., which our company has protected against counterfeiting). The interior of the shelter is illuminated and the bicycle shelter is connected to a camera system. The security system also includes the delivery of software used to synchronize all security elements (electronic authorization, camera). The software was developed by our company.

Newly, in the premises of our bicycle shelters, we mainly use bunk racks that allow optimal use of the size of the area in the room, as bicycles are stored on two parking levels. We have these bunk racks available in one-sided and double-sided designs. In order to make it easier to store a bicycle in the upper parking space, we supply these stands with a mounted hydraulic mechanism, which helps the person placing their bicycle on the upper stand to push out their bicycle without much effort.
